Burnley manager Eddie Howe says defender Brian Easton has no future at the club and will not be offered a new deal when his current deal expires.

"Brian's future lies elsewhere," Howe told BBC Radio Lancashire.

"We're moving in a direction so I don't really see the point of playing someone who won't be here next season."

Easton, 24, joined the Clarets from Hamilton Academical in 2009 and has made 25 appearances this season but is out of contract in the summer.
