Oxford United midfielder Asa Hall looks set to leave the Kassam Stadium after turning down a new deal at the club.
Hall, 25, has scored 11 times in 82 appearances for the U's since joining from Luton Town in the summer of 2010.
He has been offered a new deal to stay with the U's, but Hall has indicated he will not be accepting this offer and looks set to move on.
"We respect his decision, thank him and wish him the best of luck," chairman Kelvin Thomas told the club website., external
Thomas added: "We made Asa what we consider a decent offer, on improved terms, but to be fair to Asa he was honest with us and has been offered a contract on quite a bit more money, closer to home and in a higher division.
"We have identified a number of new players we feel will strengthen the squad here and we will work hard to bring those players into the club.
"At the same time conversations continue with Wayne Brown and Adam Chapman who have also been offered new deals and hopefully we can get those tied up soon."
