Harrogate Town have begun revamping their squad for next season by signing AFC Telford defender Shane Killock and Worcester midfielder Dwayne Samuels.

Killock, 23, who had a loan spell with Town in 2008-09, rejoins following his end-of-season release by Telford.

Samuels, 21, only joined Worcester from Telford in March, but wanted to relocate to Yorkshire and boss Carl Heeley has helped to get him fixed up.

Harrogate have released Paul Brayson, Jake Picton and Laurie Wilson.

But long-term injury victims Paul Heckingbottom, Danny Stimpson, Liam Hardy and Michael Brough have all been invited to pre-season training, along with strikers Chib Chilaka and Paul Beesley and youngsters Dan Clayton, Jack Emmett and Josh Garbutt.

Meanwhile, Town manager Simon Weaver plans to speak with centre-half Richard Pell when he returns from holiday.
