Chesterfield sign Huddersfield defender Liam Ridehalgh on loan

Chesterfield have signed Huddersfield Town defender Liam Ridehalgh on a one-month loan deal.

The 21-year-old ended last season on loan with the Spireites, making 20 appearances as they lost their League One status.

"It is a good deal for Chesterfield who know what type of player they are getting in Liam," Huddersfield boss Simon Grayson told the club website.

"We will monitor Liam's progress over the coming weeks."
