Norwich City sign Blackburn goalkeeper Mark Bunn

Norwich City have signed Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Mark Bunn for an undisclosed fee.

The 27-year-old has signed a two-year deal, with the option for a third, at Carrow Road.

He joined Rovers from Northampton in 2008, external but only made 15 appearances and had loan spells at Leicester City, external and Sheffield United , externalin 2009 and 2010.

"He will give us experience and competition at first team level," boss Chris Hughton told the club website., external

Bunn has not played a first-team game since Rovers' 2-1 FA Cup defeat by Newcastle in January after missing the end of last season with a hip injury.

He will provide competition for England goalkeeper John Ruddy and England Under-21 squad member Declan Rudd at Norwich.

"I'm delighted to be here to start a new challenge and I'm looking forward to it," Bunn said.

"I'm looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and getting to know the other lads. It's a good time for Norwich - it will be a tough season and I think we'll do well."
