Peterborough take Grant McCann off transfer list

Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson has confirmed that midfielder Grant McCann is no longer on the transfer list.

Ferguson told the club website: "Grant's attitude has been very good and he has been playing well so that is why I have made the decision."

McCann, 32, said: "I came back fit in pre-season and I wanted to get my head down, train hard and get into the team.

"I am off the list, but I am not getting carried away."

Northern Ireland international McCann was originally listed in April.
