Blackpool sign Nathan Eccleston and Nathan Delfouneso

Championship leaders Blackpool have signed strikers Nathan Delfouneso and Nathan Eccleston on deadline day.

Eccleston, 21, arrives on a permanent deal from Liverpool, while Delfouneso, also 21, has joined on a season-long loan from Aston Villa.

Eccleston has made just nine senior appearances for the Reds, only one of them coming from the start.

Delfouneso has had significantly more first-team opportunities at Villa, scoring nine goals in 48 appearances.

Blackpool are the only side in the Championship with a 100% league record and visit Leicester on Saturday.
