Millwall hit by John Marquis injury blow

Millwall forward John Marquis has been ruled out until the new year with a groin injury.

The 20-year-old youth academy graduate has not featured this season and is set to see a specialist about the problem.

Lions physio Bobby Bacic said: "John has suffered a cruel blow and has significantly disrupted a groin muscle on his right side.

"He previously had surgery on his left side but this is a totally different type of injury."

He added: "We will see a specialist over the coming days to discuss John's options."
