Mansfield 1-1 Hereford

Hereford and Mansfield played out a draw in the Blue Square Bet Premier.

The visitors had lost their last four games away from Edgar Street, but took the lead when Marlon Jackson tucked away a pass from Sam Clucas.

But Exodus Geohaghon levelled before the break when his header found the back of the net.

Both teams struggled to create chances after the break, but Ritchie Sutton fired a good chance wide for the hosts late on.

Mansfield Town manager Paul Cox told BBC Radio Nottingham:

"It was really frustrating. As well as the goal, it looks like Hereford had just two shots on target in 90 minutes.

"The lads kept their shape well and played well, but we just need to be a little bit braver.

"It was one of those games where I thought if we got another one, Hereford would have to open up and come at us."

Bulls manager Martin Foyle told BBC Hereford & Worcester:

"Sometimes you can come to some grounds and you know you are going to get a game of football.

"But the way Paul Cox plays, if you have got the players with the long throws and the armoury to do it, then I would probably go and do it myself.

"It's effective and it's hard to deal with but I thought we stood up to it fantastically today."
