Aldershot defender Sonny Bradley says his partnership with fellow centre-back Ollie Lancashire is improving.

The Shots have conceded just three goals in their last five games.

Bradley, on a season-long loan with the Shots, told BBC Surrey: "Ollie's a good player and I think we've got a good understanding.

"You've got to make it work and the more you play together the more that happens. I think we are developing a pretty decent partnership."

He added: "That's got a lot to do with the clean sheets we are getting."

The Shots currently lie 19th in League Two following Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Accrington Stanley.

"It was not a pretty performance," the 20-year-old continued.

"Their goal was a bit suspect but it's no excuse. We weren't good enough and we need to be better.

"We'll look at the game and see where we went wrong."
