Fleetwood 1-1 AFC Wimbledon

AFC Wimbledon earned their first league point under manager Neal Ardley as they drew against Fleetwood.

Ardley saw his side fall behind when Steven Gillespie finished off a flowing counter attack following a Dons corner.

However the visitors pulled level when Byron Harrison headed home Rashid Yussuff's pin-point free-kick.

The Cod Army pressed for a late winner, but David Ball and Barry Nicholson spurned fine chances as both sides had to settle for a point.

"I would have enjoyed it more if we had nicked a second goal late on.

"We keep falling behind in games but today we showed a little bit of courage.

"We pressed them really well and got back in the game I'm really, really pleased with the boys."
