Scunthorpe 0-3 MK Dons

MK Dons tasted victory for the first time in six games at the expense of struggling Scunthorpe.

Luke Chadwick capitalised on keeper Sam Slocombe's error to give the Dons their first goal in four games, before curling a second into the top corner.

Mark Duffy and Josh Walker forced decent saves from visiting keeper David Martin, but Alan Smith nodded in for 3-0 after poor defending from the hosts.

Chadwick then saw a penalty saved after David Mirfin had felled Angelo Balanta.

Scunthorpe United manager Alan Knill told BBC Radio Humberside:

Knill has faith in his players

"It's the goals again that have killed us. There was nothing in the game until they scored and if you're struggling it knocks all the stuffing out of you and everybody thinks 'here we go again'. It was quite difficult to take, especially the manner of the goal.

"It's a case of quickly getting over that and keeping faith with the players because these are the players that we have and moving on quickly.

"It's football management isn't it, so everyday you live with that. What will be will be, you can't do anything about it, it's someone else's decision.

"All you do is get on with the job as best you possibly can and I'm doing that as best as I can possibly can."
