Reading's Lawson D'Ath joins Cheltenham Town on loan

Reading's Lawson D'Ath has joined Cheltenham in a one-month loan deal.

The 19-year-old midfielder has made one substitute appearance for the Royals' first-team in their FA Cup defeat by Stevenage in January.

D'Ath gained experience during a four-month loan spell at League One Yeovil Town last season, where he scored once in 14 appearances.

He goes straight in to Cheltenham's sqaud for their League One game with Exeter on Saturday.

"Reading ideally wanted him to go higher but I want to thank Reading for all their help," manager Mark Yates told the club website., external

"I have seen Lawson play for Yeovil and he has chipped in with goals there and I expect him to do well here too."
