Crewe 4-1 Wycombe
- Published
Crewe eased into the second round of the FA Cup with victory over Wycombe.
The Alex fell behind when Matt Spring powered home for the visitors, but Mathias Pogba capitalised on a parry from keeper Jordan Archer to level.
Mark Ellis put the hosts ahead with a close-range effort, before Archer kept out a Harry Davis penalty after Dave Winfield had felled Pogba.
However, fierce strikes from both Chuks Aneke and Luke Murphy saved Davis's blushes and ensured Crewe victory.
