Chesterfield 6-1 Hartlepool
- Published
League Two side Chesterfield thumped managerless Hartlepool to reach the FA Cup second round and pick up their first win under Paul Cook.
Scott Boden's chip, Mark Randall's side-footed finish and a Craig Clay free-kick made it 3-0 to the Spireites at half-time.
Terrell Forbes turned in Danny Whitaker's set-piece to add a fourth.
Antony Sweeney headed in for Pools, but neat finishes from Jack Lester and sub Craig Westcarr completed the rout.
