Aldershot 0-0 Wycombe

Aldershot held on for a draw against Wycombe despite playing an hour with 10 men, but still slipped to the bottom of League Two.

Anthony Tonkin was sent off inside the first 30 minutes for two bookable offences on Bruno Andrade and then Gareth Ainsworth.

Danny Hylton blocked Shots team-mate Craig Reid's shot on the line, and Dave Winfield fired over for the Chairboys.

Visiting keeper Jordan Archer denied Peter Vincenti with a fine double save.

Shots were resilient - Holdsworth

Aldershot Town manager Dean Holdsworth told BBC Surrey:

"I've seen the second tackle from Anthony Tonkin and I don't think it was a sending off at all. We were the much better side up until the sending off and after that I thought we were magnificent.

"The players have earned a pat on the back because their character came through and I would have liked them to have three points but they were very resilient.

"We're four games unbeaten and another clean sheet so I am going to congratulate my players for their effort, work rate and team spirit."
