Burton's John McGrath returns for reserves after injury

Burton Albion midfielder John McGrath could feature in Sunday's FA Cup tie against Altrincham following an eight-month injury lay-off.

McGrath played 70 minutes for the reserves in their game at Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday.

It was his first match since tearing a ligament in his foot in February.

The 32-year-old Brewers captain was hurt in the League Two fixture against Swindon Town last season and had to have surgery in March.
