Hartlepool: Middlesbrough's Charlie Wyke extends stay

Hartlepool United have extended the loan deal for Middlesbrough striker Charlie Wyke for a further month.

The 19-year-old joined Pools last month on an initial month-long deal and made two appearances for the club.

However first-team opportunities were limited by an ankle gash which saw him return to Boro for treatment.

Middlesbrough-born Wyke had a loan spell at Kettering towards the end of the 2011-12 season, scoring twice in 12 Blue Square Bet Premier games.
