Jersey Scottish thrash St Peter to go top in Premiership

Island striker Jamie Savory scored twice for Scottish

Jersey Scottish went back to the top of the Premiership with a comfortable 5-1 win over St Peter at Springfield.

Jamie Savory scored twice and James Scott, Jake Baker and Joe Murphy were also on target, with Steve Holt replying for St Peter.

Scottish are two points clear of Jersey Wanderers at the top of the table with a game in hand having won all four of their matches so far.

St Peter remain second from bottom with just one point from four games.
