Rochdale sign Shrewsbury Town's Terry Gornell on loan for a month

Rochdale have completed the signing of striker Terry Gornell on loan from League One side Shrewsbury Town.

The 22-year-old has played 13 times in all competitions for the Shrews this season but has failed to find the net.

Gornell began his career with Tranmere and enjoyed a prolific spell at Accrington before joining Shrewsbury in the summer of 2011, scoring nine league goals to help them win promotion.

He joins Dale for a month and should be available to face Wycombe on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Rochdale have loaned striker Craig Curran to Blue Square Bet North side Chester for a month.
