Fleetwood 3-0 Plymouth

Fleetwood moved to within a point of the League Two automatic promotion places with victory over Plymouth.

Jamie McGuire's audacious overhead kick set up David Ball to give the hosts the lead within 90 seconds.

Ball then had a shot cleared off the line by Durrell Berry and Plymouth skipper Darren Purse was sent off for two yellow cards in a minute.

Curtis Nelson touched in Curtis Obeng's cross, before Ball set up Junior Brown at the back post to complete the win.

Argyle marking was poor - Fletcher

"We just didn't mark our man. We worked well all week on certain things and the game changes straight away. From our point of view, not good enough.

"Once we got over the initial disappointment of the goal and actually got on the ball, we had some good chances.

"We were looking forward to the second half, but we didn't get to where we wanted to be."
