Lincoln City beat Hereford United in a five-goal thriller at Sincil Bank.

Jamie Taylor's 35-yard lob put the home side ahead before Ryan Bowman made amends for missing a close-range header by firing in from Joshua O'Keefe's through-ball to make it 1-1.

Joe Heath's own goal put Lincoln ahead again and Colin Larkin's penalty made it 3-1 after Andy Gallinagh brought down Jake Sheridan in the area.

Will Evans' 25-yard strike set up a tense finish but the hosts held on.

Brown hails Imps' growing belief

"That's 10 games unbeaten with six wins and three in a row in the league, so that's a great effort from the players and everyone concerned.

"Confidence spreads and the momentum switches and we just want to keep the run going.

"The fans have been fantastic in this run. They've started to come back and we need them to keep coming back in their numbers and, the more we get in, the more chance we've got of winning games."
