Ben Gallichan and Craig Russell grabbed four goals each as St Paul's trounced Jersey Portuguese 13-1 to make the quarter-finals of Le Riche Cup.

Jack Cannon (2), Adam Fisher (2) and Jay Giles also netted while Ricardo Figueira scored for Portuguese.

Elsewhere in the Cup St Peter came from behind to win 3-2 against St Clement.

Newly-signed Michael Teixiera scored both for St Clement, but goals from skipper Neal Crowell, Beau Waugh and Richie Russell put St Peter through.

The other second-round tie between St John and St Ouen was one of many matches in the island to be postponed because of wet weather.

The two Jersey Premiership matches scheduled for Saturday were also victims of overnight rain.

The games between leaders Jersey Scottish and fourth-placed Grouville, as well as the clash between Rozel Rovers and St Brelade will now be rescheduled.

In the Championship's Touzel Cup the first-round match between leaders Trinity and Sporting Academics was also postponed because of an unplayable pitch.
