Brentford have extended the loan stay of teenage Everton left-back Jake Bidwell until 5 January.

The 19-year-old has made 17 appearances for the League One side this season after playing 25 games for the club during a loan spell last term.

The England Under-19 international is eligible to play for the Bees in the FA Cup and could extend his spell at Griffin Park further in the new year.

Bidwell played a Europa League game for Everton as a 16-year-old in 2009.
