MK Dons 2-4 Walsall

Two goals from Will Grigg helped Walsall to a surprise victory at promotion-chasing MK Dons.

Ryan Lowe headed home Adam Chicksen's cross for the hosts before Febian Brandy hammered in an equaliser.

Grigg showed good skill to curl Dean Smith's side in front, only for Dean Bowditch to level from a Lowe pass.

The Northern Ireland international tapped home Craig Westcarr's cross for his second and Jamie Paterson's shot deflected in to make it 4-2 late on.

The hosts twice hit the woodwork before Paterson's late strike sealed it, Patrick Bamford and Antony Kay both being denied by the post.

Walsall, who won for the first time in 17 matches on Saturday, are now eight points clear of the bottom three after back-to-back successes.

Lowe scored for the fourth successive game for the Dons, who remain in sixth.
