Torquay 2-3 AFC Wimbledon

AFC Wimbledon remain bottom of League Two, despite snatching a last-gasp win in a five-goal thriller at Torquay.

Paul McCallum headed in Rashid Yussuff's cross to put the Dons ahead.

Torquay levelled soon afterwards, captain Lee Mansell firing in a loose ball, before Mat Mitchel-King's angled shot restored the visitors' advantage.

Rene Howe's 90th-minute equaliser looked to have earned a point for the hosts, but Stacy Long powered in a late winner for Neal Ardley's side.

Torquay manager Martin Ling told BBC Radio Devon:

Ling frustrated by late concessions

"Frustration is the word. Even to come back and nick the point would have been some sort of reward but, at the moment, last minute goals are killing us.

"Their first two goals were from very, very bad defending from us.

"We stuck at it, ground away to get a point on a poor pitch, but we didn't open them up at all.

"We haven't got the money to go into the market. Let's get real - in the last two seasons we've been overachieving and this season we've been underachieving."
