- Published
Brentford defender Leon Legge has agreed to join Gillingham on a month's loan with a view to a permanent move.
The loan deal will be completed when the transfer window opens on 1 January and the 27-year-old will be available for the game against Southend.
Legge joined the Bees from Tonbridge Angels in 2009 and played 115 games.
Brentford manager Uwe Rösler said: "I think the move is in the best interests of Leon and us in that we fulfil his wish for regular playing time."
He added: "I want to thank him for the service he gave the club and to me; he is an honest lad and gave his all and was an important member of the squad."
