Peterborough reject Nottingham Forest George Boyd offer

Peterborough United have rejected an offer from Nottingham Forest for transfer-listed midfielder George Boyd.

Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony used Twitter, external to describe the offer from Forest, who beat Peterborough 2-1 on Saturday, as "derisory".

MacAnthony said there had also been enquiries about Boyd from Reading, Millwall and Crystal Palace.

But he said Leeds have confirmed they are not in a position to pursue their interest in the 27-year-old.

Boyd spent a period on loan at Forest in the 2009-10 season. , external
