Portsmouth have confirmed that six players have left the club following the expiry of their contracts.

Mustapha Dumbuya, Jon Harley, Brian Howard, Lubomir Michalik, Luke Rodgers and Lee Williamson have all departed.

Michalik joined Pompey in mid-September, while the other five arrived just before the opening League One match of the season in August.

"We thank them for their efforts and wish them all the best," said Pompey caretaker boss Guy Whittingham.

League One Portsmouth have been in administration since February 2012 and are facing a second successive relegation as they are set for a 10-point penalty.

They are currently in the process of a takeover bid by the Pompey Supporters' Trust and are said to be £61m in debt.
