Northampton Town sign Emmanuel Oyeleke on loan

Northampton Town have signed young Brentford midfielder Emmanuel Oyeleke on a month's loan.

The 20-year-old, who was released from the Chelsea academy in 2008, has made two senior appearances for the Bees.

But he has failed to feature for the League One side this season.

"I have watched Manny play a number of times and he will add to our squad. I think we can help Manny and I know he can help us," Cobblers boss Aidy Boothroyd told the club website.

"He is a strong, athletic, combative midfield player who can play anywhere across the midfield or at full-back.

"He is here to challenge for and compete for a first-team place and to gain experience."
