Bury 0-2 Sheffield Utd

Sheffield United moved to within three points of the League One automatic promotion places with a win at Bury.

Shakers boss Kevin Blackwell was facing the Blades for the first time since he was sacked from the Bramall Lane post, but saw his side go behind when Jonathan Forte cut inside to strike.

Ashley Eastham then blasted the hosts' best chance over the bar.

They were made to pay when Jamie Murphy capitalised on some poor defending to fire home a second goal.

Blades have to win games - Wilson

"It's a great three points again on the road and they are all bonus times as we always say.

"If we going to make any sort of challenge for the top two, we have to come away from home and win games. The last two results have been terrific for us.

"It's there for us. If we can keep this momentum that we've got now, we're going to be challenging that's for sure."
