Aldershot Town defender Troy Brown says his centre-back partnership with Sonny Bradley is working well.

The duo have helped the Shots to four clean sheets in their last six League Two games as the Hampshire club aim to pull away from the foot of the table.

Brown, 22, told BBC Surrey: "It's been good and we just need to keep more clean sheets. It's a good partnership.

"We are getting to know each other's games, what we may lack, and have been communicating well as a back five."

He added: "I have spoken to fellow defenders and we are doing our job, they're happy with the way we have played and feel solid.

"Safety is first in our minds.

"It's just about putting the ball in the back of the net but that will come eventually as we have quality in the squad.

"We are fully focused on picking up points in every game and are doing our best on the training ground to do that."
