Cheltenham got their play-off push back on track with victory over AFC Wimbledon, who dropped to the bottom of League Two on goal difference.
Veteran defender Steve Elliott headed the hosts in front after a trademark free-kick from Billy Jones.
Darren Carter made it 2-0 in the second half after a good passing move from Mark Yates' side.
Substitute Brennan Dickenson rifled home with his first touch of the game but the Robins held on.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Cheltenham Town manager Mark Yates told BBC Radio Gloucestershire:
"I thought we made it difficult for ourselves in the last fifteen minutes by conceding like we did but I thought we looked pretty comfortable."
"From where we've been and conceding silly goals of late to cost us wins, psychologically it's a massive win for us."
"We've got lots of great footballers in the team and I think when we get the ball down and play some of the stuff like we did the first half, I think we can cause teams problems.".
"It was a good team performance but just perhaps marred by conceding that one goal and putting the crowd on edge for a bit."
