Ryan Williams: Morecambe midfielder given new contract

Morecambe midfielder Ryan Williams has been rewarded with a new contract to run to the end of next season.

The 21-year-old former Chester and Rhyl player has made two starts since initially joining the club last October on a short-term deal.

"Ryan has already shown that he is a player with huge potential," manager Jim Bentley told the club website.

"He is still only young, but I am sure he will continue to improve and will be an important member of our squad."
