Cheltenham Town have extended the loan deal of Reading defender Michael Hector by a further month.

The 20-year-old first joined the Robins in January and will now stay until at least March.

He has played a full 90 minutes in all seven of his appearances for the League Two promotion chasers.

"Reading have been watching and keeping tabs on me. I've had positive reports and good feedback so it's all going good," Hector told the club website., external

"It's a big help to me when we play from the back because that's my type of game, and if we carry on doing that right it will help me to play my best football.

"We know we need to crack on now and get as many points as we can and push on up the league."
