Tamworth 1-1 Alfreton Town

Darren Byfield struck his first goal for Tamworth to earn his side a point against Alfreton Town.

The visitors took the lead when Louis Soares crashed home from inside the box, his first goal of the season.

The Lambs improved after the break and veteran forward Byfield equalised when he found the bottom corner from close in after good work by Adam Cunnington.

Alfreton nearly stole all three points late on, but Paul Clayton's header hit the bar and bounced to safety.
