Crusaders and Lisburn Distillery face a quarter-final replay after a 1-1 draw at Seaview in the Irish Cup

Crusaders and Lisburn Distillery will have to do it all again in an Irish Cup quarter-final replay on Monday week after this Seaview stalemate.

In-form Aaron Boyd headed the Whites into the lead on 11 minutes.

However, Timmy Adamson levelled six minutes later with a close-range finish after a David McMaster cross.

Whites keeper Lee Windrum denied Adamson in the second half with Crues keeper Yohann Lacroix blocking a late Philip Simpson effort.

Boyd nodded the visitors into the lead as he connected powerfully with a Scott Davidson cross.

But the Crues were on terms within six minutes as Adamson maintained his scoring sequence in this year's Irish Cup.

After the break, Windrum made a superb full-length save to tip Adamson's drive out for a corner.

Jamie Mitchell and substitute Jordan Owens also missed Crusaders chances before French keeper Lacroix made a crucial late save for the home club to deny Simpson.
