Walsall sign West Brom midfielder Romaine Sawyers

Walsall have signed West Bromwich Albion midfielder Romaine Sawyers on loan until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old, who is yet to make his Baggies debut, has had loan spells with Shrewsbury and Port Vale in the last two seasons.

He could feature in Friday's match at fellow play-off hopefuls Yeovil.

"I know that Albion rate him highly, so it's good to have him on board," Walsall boss Dean Smith told the club website.
