Carlisle's third meeting of the season with rivals Preston ended in another closely-contested draw at Brunton Park.

Preston's Jeffrey Monakana drilled a low left-footed shot into the bottom corner to give his side the lead.

Carlisle striker Lee Miller tapped in the equaliser from Jon-Paul McGovern's 25-yard free-kick, his eighth goal of the season.

North End finished the game with 10 men after Nicky Wroe's second yellow card for a challenge on Mark Gillespie.
