Jersey manager Craig Culkin names Muratti warm-up squad

Jersey manager Craig Culkin has named an 18-man squad for the match with the Essex and Suffolk Border League on Saturday.

The game is the first of two warm-up matches for Jersey ahead of the Muratti Vase showdown with Guernsey on 18 May.

Striker Jamie Savory, midfielder Ben Gallichan and goalkeeper Craig Fletcher are all out injured for the islanders.

But Daryl Wilson of Championship side Trinity is among those called up for the friendly at Springfield.

Jersey last won the Muratti in 2011 after beating their island rivals on penalties.

Elsewhere, in Jersey's Premiership joint-bottom Rozel Rovers host mid-table St Peter.

Jersey will also face Middlesex Wanderers on Saturday 11 May a week before the clash with Guernsey.
