Ex-manager Jackie McNamara makes Partick Thistle bonus claim
- Published
Former manager Jackie McNamara is seeking a bonus payment from Partick Thistle following their First Division title triumph.
The Firhill club's lawyers received a letter from the 39-year-old's representatives making the claim.
But the Jags insist McNamara lost any entitlement to a bonus when he left to join Dundee United in January.
Alan Archibald took over the manager's duties and steered Thistle to promotion.
The Glasgow club were five points behind Morton at the time of McNamara's departure but had two games in hand.
