Aberystwyth Town are looking for a new manager following the resignation of Tomi Morgan.

Morgan returned for a second spell in February 2012 to succeed Alan Morgan.

Aber narrowly avoided relegation from the Welsh Premier League this season.

"Due to continuing and increasing work pressures I can foresee not being in a position to continue to give 100 per cent to the role of Manager," Morgan said., external

"It is therefore with regret that I tender my resignation.

"I wish the club every success for the future and thank all those who have supported me during my time as Manager."

A former player with Aberystwyth and Telford United, Morgan was a Welsh Cup winner with Llansantffraid in 1996.

Morgan has also managed Carmarthen Town, Rhayader Town, Welshpool Town and Porthmadog before returning to Park Avenue for a second spell as manager.

"Iin my view it is a big blow to the Club that we will be losing the services of a man whose experience in all aspects of semi-professional Welsh football is second to none," said Aberystwyth chairman Tony Bates.

"It is certainly my hope that, perhaps after finishing certain ventures I know he is keen to pursue, Tomi will return in some capacity to Aberystwyth Town Football Club."
