Rochdale will sign Aldershot utility man Peter Vincenti and striker Scott Hogan, who was recently with Hyde, on two-year deals from 1 July.

Jersey-born Vincenti, who can operate in midfield or as a striker, had been with the Shots since January 2011.

The 26-year-old has departed after the club were relegated from League Two and then placed in administration.

Hogan, 21, joined Hyde from Ashton United in March and scored three goals in 11 appearances for the Tigers.

He began his career as a youth player at Spotland but failed to make a first-team appearance during his first spell.

Rochdale announced earlier this week that Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Bastien Hery has also agreed to join the League Two outfit ahead of next season.

On the capture of Vincenti, who is approaching the end of his contract at the EBB Stadium, manager Keith Hill told the club website:, external "I'm excited by this one. As soon as I knew that Peter was interested in coming to Rochdale, I jumped on it.

"He's looking forward to the prospect of working for me and the club and he wants to be successful. It was a very easy decision for me to recruit him."

Meanwhile, in addition to the eight players that left at the end of the season, Rochdale have confirmed Dele Adebola, Craig Curran, Sam Minihan and Luke Watson have not been offered new deals and will also be departing.
