Scotland Under-21 striker McKenzie has already made 24 first-team appearances for the Ayrshire outfit since his debut in April 2011.

Defender Ashcroft made his debut as a late substitute in Saturday's 3-2 win away to relegated Dundee.

McKenzie, who had a loan spell with Brechin City last season, scored his second goal of the season in that game.

The club said in a website statement: "Both youngsters are products of the youth system and look set to have an exciting future ahead of them at Kilmarnock Football Club.

"Impressive performances at both senior and Under-20 level for Killie saw Rory rewarded with a Scotland U21 cap in a 1-1 draw with Greece in February.

"Lee Ashcroft has been a key figure for the U20 side this season in the centre of defence."
