Alfreton Town left-back Connor Franklin has signed a new one-year contract.

The 25-year-old played 37 games last season as the Reds secured their place in the top division of non-League football for a third successive season.

Franklin will now play a fourth season at Alfreton, having moved to the Impact Arena for an undisclosed four-figure fee from Hinckley United in 2010.

The England C International and former Leicester City apprentice has played more than 100 games for the club.
