Tamworth: Duane Courtney signs on for another year

Tamworth defender Duane Courtney has signed on for a third successive year with the Conference Premier side.
The 28-year-old ex-Telford, Burnley, Kidderminster and York stopper, who has played 76 Blue Square Bet Premier games since moving to The Lamb in 2011, has penned another 12-month contract.
The Courtney deal is the first done by Dale Belford since being confirmed as Tamworth boss at the end of the season.
But defender Richard Tait and striker Adam Cunnington have gone to Cambridge.
Birmingham-born Courtney was Telford's player of the year in 2004-05 before taken by Steve Cotterill to Burnley for £25,000.
After failing to make a serious first team breakthrough at Turf Moor, he then spent three seasons in the Welsh Premier League with The New Saints before returning to spend a year each with Kidderminster Harriers and York City.
Next season will be a fifth consecutive campaign in the Conference for Courtney, who will be bidding to help Tamworth improved on last season's 19th-placed finish.
