Morecambe goalkeeper Andreas Arestidou has signed a two-year contract to remain at the Globe Arena.

In addition, young Shrimps trio Joe McGee, Joe Mwasile and Chris Doyle have all agreed fresh one-year deals.

Arestidou made six starts in 2012-13, spending most of the campaign as back-up to regular number one Barry Roche.

Defender Doyle, plus midfield pair McGee and Mwasile, were all handed their first Football League starts by boss Jim Bentley last season.

"All four lads have a lot of potential and I'm glad we have signed them because they will be important to us next year," Bentley told the club website., external
