Huddersfield Town defender Liam Ridehalgh signs new deal

Huddersfield Town full-back Liam Ridehalgh has agreed a one-year contract extension.

The 22-year-old spent time on loan with Chesterfield and Rotherham this season, helping the latter to promotion.

He told the club website: "I've been out on loan for the last two seasons and I think my development has gone pretty well.

"I've played quite a lot in Leagues One and Two, so hopefully my next challenge is to tackle the Championship."
