Andy Mitchell signs one-year Rangers deal

Defender Andy Mitchell has signed a new one-year deal with Rangers.

The Northern Ireland Under-21 international started the Third Division champions' last four matches of the campaign.

He began his Ibrox career on the right side of midfield in Scottish Premier League matches against Dundee United and St Mirren in 2011/12.

But this season manager Ally McCoist has played the 21-year-old, ending his fourth season at Rangers, at full-back.
