Joseph Mills will complete a permanent move to Championship club Burnley on 1 July after relegated Reading chose to release the 23-year-old full-back.

Mills, who spent the 2012-13 season on loan at Turf Moor, has agreed to sign a two-year contract with the Clarets.

He played 12 times for Burnley last term, including nine league starts, and is the second confirmed addition to Sean Dyche's squad for next season.

Bristol City goalkeeper Tom Heaton will also sign a two-year deal.
